Amanda ("Mandy") von Ahlen is a very friendly 1-2 year-old classic female German Shepherd on the smaller side, who is an absolute dream!  She is great with kids, is well-behaved with her family's older foster dogs, and is a perfect house guest.  Mandy is completely housebroken and knows how to use the dog door, sleeps quietly on her own dog bed, and doesn't mess with the family cat. Although she can initially be responsive to other dogs while on a leash, she quickly responds to correction and is learning to walk quietly at your side on a loose leash. She still shows some 'puppy' energy that can be directed towards fun playtime -- like chasing a ball or rolling on the lawn. Her favorite pass time, however, is simply being with you -- lying quietly at your side while you are working or watching TV. Come meet Mandy and see for yourself how wonderful she is!!!
